Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier
to Move to Historic Sinclair Building

(Fort Worth, TX) –Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC, is planning a move this summer to the historic Sinclair Building at 512 Main Street in downtown Fort Worth. Founded in 1949, SB&F will occupy all of floors 15 and 16 and a majority of 14 in the 16 story building built in 1930, according to Rick Baumeister, managing partner of the firm.

“The Sinclair Building is just a few blocks from our current office at 201 Main Street,” said Mr. Baumeister. “The move keeps us in the heart of downtown and signifies a unique coming together for both our 58-year-old firm and this 77-year-old landmark.”

The Sinclair Building, previously owned by a California-based real estate company, was purchased last fall by Sinclair Building Partners, LP, whose owners include SB&F’s Rick Baumeister, Allyson Baumeister, Ken Jaffe and a group of investors.

Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC was formed in 1949 and has grown to a staff of 34, serving a diverse regional clientele with a full range of accounting and consulting services.

Constructed by Harry B. Friedman and designed by Wiley G. Clarkson, the Sinclair Building, one of the most significant buildings of the period, is a recognized landmark of contemporary architecture and artistry. Built of concrete-clad with limestone and precast concrete, the building’s ornamental art deco Main Street entrance is one of most unique in the area.

With over 95,000 feet of space, the building underwent major renovations in 1989 and achieved National Historical Register recognition the following year. Among the features preserved were an ornate marble and limestone facade and an illuminated tower.

Currently the Sinclair Building has 99 percent occupancy. Several retail outlets operate on the street level. Client parking remains nearby.

Founded in 1949, SB&F is a full service accounting firm that performs audits, tax planning and compliance, litigation support, pension administration and consulting, and merger and acquisition consulting for entities in real estate, oil and gas, financial institutions, automotive dealerships, trusts and estates, technology, healthcare, and retail. SB&F headquarters are in Fort Worth, Texas. Partners are Rick Baumeister, Allyson Baumeister, Kevin Grubbs, Brian Jenke and Susan Roberts.
SB&F offices are at 201 Main Street- until the summer move. They are on the web at www.sbf-cpa.com.
