What: Casa Mañana Theatre’s 50th Birthday Celebration to commemorate 50 years as a Texas cultural icon.

When: Saturday, July 5, 2008, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Casa Mañana Theatre, 3101 West Lancaster Avenue Fort Worth, TX 76107 At the corner of Lancaster and University in the Cultural District.

Details: Casa Mañana invites the whole family to enjoy a once in a lifetime 50th Birthday Celebration with old-fashioned family-fun activities and....tickets are less than a gallon of gas!

    Tickets:

        • Tickets offered at 1958 prices, only $3.00 per person for adults and children
        • Tickets can be purchased the day of the event or by calling the Casa Mañana Theatre box office at
          817-332-2272. You can also visit the Casa Mañana Theatre box office, 3101 West Lancaster Avenue,

    Concessions:
        • Concessions offered at 1958 prices!
        • Hotdogs and soft drinks are only 25¢

    On display:
        • Historical mementos, such as the mighty Wurlitzer organ, original costume and set pieces from previous           productions, and original show programs that span over 50 years.

Entertainment:
        • Broadway musical review featuring some of North Texas’ most talented singers in a musical review of Casa           Mañana’s inaugural 1958 season, and special performances by The Casa Kids, Casa Mañana’s outreach           performance troupe. Performances are at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and are suitable for all audiences.
        • During intermission of the 12:00p.m. show Fort Worth Council member Sal Espino will present a           proclamation from the Mayor declaring Saturday, July 5, 2008 as Casa Mañana Theatre Day.
        • On-site face painters, balloon artists, clowns, magicians, puppets and more.
        • Patrons are invited to share their favorite Casa stories on the “Casa Cam” or on a “Casa Card.” These           special memories will be posted on the Casa Mañana website.
