Fort
Worth Native Opens Ethridge Plastic Surgery |
| Dr. Ethridge specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the breast, body, and face. Up-to-date on the most advanced procedures and techniques, Dr. Ethridge’s facilities include three examination rooms and a procedure room. Minor cosmetic procedures will be performed on-site, while the majority of procedures will be completed at local hospital facilities. Dr. Ethridge has privileges at Baylor All Saints Medical Center, Harris Methodist, Cook Children’s, and several Ambulatory Surgery Centers. A Fort Worth native and Trinity Valley School graduate, Dr. Ethridge received his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin. He continued his studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Human Biological Chemistry and Genetics, his Medical Doctorate, and numerous academic awards. Dr. Ethridge received his formal training in plastic and reconstructive
surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and
was honored with election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor
Society. He completed externships in cosmetic surgery at the prestigious
Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami, Florida, under the direction
of Dr. James Stuzin; in microvascular surgery at the University of
Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas; and in cosmetic
surgery at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute in Dallas, Texas,
under the direction of Dr. John Burns. Dr. Ethridge participates in Austin Smiles, an organization that provides reconstructive plastic surgery— primarily cleft lip and palate repairs— to children in various locations in Latin America. He and his wife, Kristen Penny Ethridge, M.D., have three children. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and hunting on his family’s ranch outside of Fort Worth.
