(Fort Worth, Texas)— Kenneth Jones has announced the appointment of Barbara Debenport McMasters as president and chief operating officer of Fort Worth’s first area GMAC Real Estate office---Kenneth Jones GMAC Real Estate---that opened last month. The firm provides a full range of real estate services.

    Ms. Debenport McMasters joins a core executive team that includes Founder and CEO Kenneth Jones and President of Property Management Cindy Hoover.

    Over the past 28 years, Barbara Debenport McMasters has gained expertise in Fort Worth real estate in residential sales, leasing, and residential property management. She formed and managed two independent brokerage firms. Her independently owned, 25 year old, Genesis Realty and Management Services was merged four years ago to form Williams Trew Property Management LLC (WTPM). Until recently, Ms. Debenport McMasters acted as broker and chief operating officer of WTPM. Additionally, she has an extensive background in corporate management, as well as experience in public relations, marketing, and office/branch management. She was director of sales and marketing for one of the first luxury high-rise condominium developments in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.

    She was GFWAR REALTOR of the Year in 2001 and was awarded the GFWAR Distinguished Service Award in 2007. Honored by the Fort Worth-Mid-Cities chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers, she was the first recipient of her namesake award --- the Barbara Debenport Distinguished Service Award in 2007.

    For 18 years prior to opening Kenneth Jones GMAC Real Estate, Mr. Jones owned and operated Kenneth Jones & Associates, a Fort Worth-based real estate and appraisal concern.
