ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Braveheart March, Remarks, and Home Demolition

Hundreds of volunteers from around the Dallas-Fort Worth community will join the Wall Homes build team, Wall CEO Steve Wall, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition host Ty Pennington and the entire Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew to kick-off the build event in Keller.

8:00 a.m.– Media Check-In
7:45am-10:00 a.m. – On-camera taping of Braveheart March
10:00 a.m. – On-camera taping of remarks by Steve Wall (please contact Todd@phprinc.com for updated time schedule. All scheduling subject to production time changes)
Noon – Augustin Home Demolition (Anticipate demolition will take approx 30 mins). Rodeo Roundup

Former home of Amber and Peter Augustin in Keller, TX – 2880 Keller Hicks Road, Keller, TX 76248

Visit extreme.wall.com for maps, directions, and parking instructions. The street will be closed. Security will be on hand to instruct media members where to park and how to gain access.

Details
Braveheart March and Remarks: Steve Wall, president and founder of Wall Homes, will lead hundreds of workers and volunteers, notably conspicuous in their signature hard hats and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” blue shirts, towards the home site. Then, he will address the team before demolition of the old home begins. A special Rodeo Roundup theme will prevail.

Important note: No wireless microphones please as it interferes with the production company’s audio frequencies.


FutureSchedule/Details

Thursday, December 11:
6:00 a.m.-on – Framing and building. (Will continue non-stop for the next several days and nights.)
9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. – Arlington CVB will hold a special event in the VIP tent.
11:00 a.m. – Photo Opportunity, Texas Ranger Kevin Millwood will join Steve Wall on site for construction.
Friday, December 12:
Photo Opportunity: Wall Homes CEO and founder will be laying bricks. He began in the industry as a brick-layer.
Saturday, December 13:
10:00am – 1:00pm – Auction inside the VIP tent with cast and crew to raise money for March of Dimes.
10:00am – 1:00pm – Auction in spectator area to raise money for Mach of Dimes. Some special mascots and characters will be on site to greet and mingle with children.
Sunday, December 14:
Noon – Wall Homes team turns over keys to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team.
Monday, December 15:
2:00 a.m. – House Reveal, also known as the time for “Move that Bus!”
Tuesday, December 16:
Time TBD – Press conference at new home.
