Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC Expands with Six New
Hires
CPA Firm Also Promotes Three
(Fort Worth, Texas)— Richard Baumeister, managing partner at Sanford,
Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC, has announced the addition of six new staff
members and the promotion of three SB&F veterans at the Fort Worth accounting
firm.
New hires include David Yee as senior audit associate, Esmatullah Mir as senior
tax associate, Michael Fenter as tax associate, Erin Wilkerson as accounting
associate, and Karen Avelar and Brian Lauderdale as tax interns. Marie Rios
and Austin Roberts were also promoted from tax interns to tax associates, and
Brandi Hatcher was promoted from intern to audit associate.
Mr. Yee joins SB&F in the audit department, focusing on a broad range of
industries. A University of North Texas graduate, Mr. Yee previously worked
for KPMG in both the internal and external audit departments.
A graduate of Loyola University and a CPA candidate, Mr. Mir was formerly with
Deloitte & Touche and RSM McGladrey in Chicago. His responsibilities at
SB&F include tax planning, tax return preparation, and reviewing tax returns.
Mr. Fenter will work with all entity types and industry segments on federal
and state tax compliance issues. His prior experience includes time at Salmon
Sims Thomas, an accounting firm in Dallas. Mr. Fenter received his Bachelor
of Science in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
As SB&F’s newest accounting associate, Ms. Wilkerson will be in charge
of outsourced accounting for a variety of clients. Currently completing her
accounting degree at the University of North Texas, Ms. Wilkerson has spent
five years with various CPA firms across the Metroplex.
Ms. Avelar and Mr. Lauderdale are completing their undergraduate degrees. Ms.
Avelar is finishing her junior year at Texas Wesleyan University pursuing a
dual Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.
Mr. Lauderdale is a sophomore accounting major at Texas Christian University
and is involved in various on-campus activities.
