(Fort Worth, Texas)— Richard T. (Rick) Baumeister, Jr., CPA, managing partner at Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC, has announced that the Fort Worth-based accounting firm will be merging Hugly PC, a North Dallas-based accounting firm, into SB&F.

    Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Hugly PC, founded in 1997 by Donna J. Hugly, CPA, is a full-service accounting firm with a primary client base of small- to medium-size privately-held companies as well as individuals.

Per the agreement, Ms. Hugly joins SB&F as a partner.

    Hugly PC’s clients will become clients of SB&F, and the Hugly office in Addison, Texas, will now function as SB&F’s North Dallas location. There will be no changes in personnel or client focus.

    Before establishing Hugly PC, Ms. Hugly was a shareholder with Weismann & Co., PC and worked at Tannebaum Bindler & Co., PC. Ms. Hugly earned her bachelor of business administration with honors in accounting at Texas A&M University.
