Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC Adds Five, Promotes One

    
    (Fort Worth, Texas)— Richard T. (Rick) Baumeister, Jr., CPA, managing partner at Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, PLLC, has announced the hire of five new staff members: Emily Adams, CPA, senior tax manager; Megan Terrell, audit senior; Ashley Shedden, director of client relations; Denise Fisher, office coordinator; and Eddie Goodreau, part-time tax associate. In addition, SB&F’s Kim Danek was promoted from administrative intern to tax associate. SB&F also welcomes three new interns to their team: Carol Brizzolara, “PK” Bhola, and Michael Wilson.

  Ms. Adams has 15 years of experience in public accounting, including owning and managing a successful accounting practice in Denton, Texas. As senior tax manager at SB&F, she services federal, state and local income tax returns for businesses and individual clients. Ms. Adams received a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Science in taxation at the University of North Texas (UNT). She is a former president of the UNT Accounting Advisory Board, treasurer of Rotary International, and has been an adjunct professor of accounting at both UNT and Texas Woman’s University.
  Ms. Terrell joins SB&F’s audit staff with experience across a broad range of industries. Ms. Terrell’s previous work with local firms focused on attestation services and employee benefit plans, as well as assisting small businesses with accounting system analysis, recommendations, and implementation. Ms. Terrell received her Master of Science in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
  Ms. Shedden delivers invaluable services to SB&F as director of client relations, serving as an intermediary between SB&F partners and their clients.
  Ms. Fisher, office coordinator, is the public face of SB&F, greeting clients in the office and on the phone and overseeing internal and external communications.
  Mr. Goodreau is a part-time tax associate at SB&F currently working towards completing his Master of Science in accounting and information management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
  Ms. Danek, an SB&F veteran of three years, was promoted to tax associate in December 2009 following her graduation from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and concentration in accounting. Her current responsibilities include assisting with federal and state compliance and preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax filings. She fulfills numerous other professional and administrative duties.
