Illustrious Trio con Brio at Steinway Hall – Dallas
to Perform One Night Only
Free concert accompanied by “Trio con Brio” painting by artist Donray

 


What:

  

Free Chamber Music Performance by TCU’s Trio con Brio, a unique combination of piano, viola and clarinet. The concert program: Robert Schumann, Märchenerzählungen (Fairy Tales) Op. 132; Max Bruch, Nachtgesang (Nocturne) Op. 83 No. 6; and two pieces composed for Trio con Brio: Richard Lavenda’s Heat of the Moment (2004) and Till MacIvor Meyn’s Orion (2008).

“Trio con Brio” Painting by artist Donray on exhibit, a portrait of the chamber trio recently unveiled in November 2009 at TCU.



Reception to Meet the Musicians and Artist over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres following the performance. The members of Trio con Brio and Donray will be available to talk about their work and collaboration.
