Bryan
Elmore Joins Steinway Hall – Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano
Most recently, he was with Steinway & Sons as director of institutional sales for the Tulsa, Okla. Dealer, for whom he created an intersection between his passions for music and non-profits by helping University of Arkansas, Oral Roberts University, and others reach the status of All-Steinway School. Mr. Elmore has a unique resume with non-profit leadership and administration and youth and worship ministry, including 13 years working as director of development for a youth home in Central Arkansas that he and his wife helped establish. While working for the home that provides residential care for troubled adolescents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmore served as foster parents to over 100 girls and boys. At Steinway Hall – Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano, Mr. Elmore will focus on performing arts organizations, schools and universities, faith-based institutions, and non-profits, according to the company. “Bryan Elmore has a magical combination of ingenuity, professionalism, and broad understanding of the development challenges non-profit organizations face,” said Mr. Saliba. “Blending with his love of kids, music, and pianos, these qualities yield an ideal skill set for the role.” In fact, he is also one of the few individuals outside of Steinway & Sons technical staff permitted to lead Steinway factory tours. Mr. Elmore has great respect for Steinway pianos, products he calls “handmade American treasures.” A perennial student, Mr. Elmore has researched piano construction for over three decades and is well-versed in the proprietary processes of Steinway & Sons and other manufacturers. “Such a rarely-matched breadth of knowledge makes Mr. Elmore a great resource to our clients,” Mr. Saliba noted. “One of Bryan’s strengths that immediately appealed to us is his ability to develop innovative solutions perfectly tailored to help each individual school reach their goals and potential.” Thinking about tackling the challenges schools face in reaching the All-Steinway status has always been a welcome prospect for Mr. Elmore. “Each project is exciting. One in particular that was thrilling for me was helping guide the University of Arkansas in their quest to become an All-Steinway School,” recounted Mr. Elmore, a graduate of the University of Tulsa. “That fundraising effort was catalyzed by enlisting one of my sons, a retired Marine, and a few of his Marine friends to quickly carry a half-ton 9’ Steinway concert grand onto the playing field during halftime of an Alabama vs. Arkansas football game for a live performance of Vladimir Horowitz’s transcription of John Phillip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever. The result was a remarkable, moving experience for the school, the 70,000 fans at the game, and the dozen donors participating on the 50 yard line halftime feat.” The University of Arkansas became an All-Steinway School shortly thereafter. Steinway Hall – Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano leadership anticipates that such successful, original events like the University of Arkansas halftime show portend similar achievements for Texas institutions. “We expect Bryan to expand his creativity even further for our institutional clients here,” continued Mr. Saliba. “I am confident that they will greatly benefit from the added experience and value Bryan brings in development and marketing for non-profits. We are so delighted he’s joined us here.” Steinway Hall – Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano, established in 1992, is an exclusive, authorized, independently owned and operated Steinway & Sons piano dealer. With three showroom locations, Steinway Hall – Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano represents The Family of Steinway Designed Pianos, including Steinway & Sons, Boston, and Essex pianos.
